- Plan your way home beforehand. Take the numbers of Taxi Companies with you, ask a friend to be a designated driver or check the Safety Bus Timetables.
- When out make sure you know where your friends are at all times and make sure you have at least one person you know of that will walk home with you.
- Plan to sleep over at a friend's house who lives close. You can have fun the next morning, reminiscing about a fun night out.
- When working late ask a friend to meet you and walk you home.
- If you find yourself on your own call up a friend or two to meet you out.
- Make sure you always take enough money to pay for a taxi to get you home.
- When leaving a place make sure at least one friend knows where you are at what time.
- If you do end up walking home alone make sure to always take big and light roads. Try to avoid dodgy looking areas or streets.
